MoRTH minister laid the foundation stone for Uppal Elevated Corridor

Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, laid the foundation stone for Uppal Elevated Corridor worth Rs 626 crore in Telangana on 5 May 2018. The ceremony was took place at Hyderabad Public School (HPS) grounds, Ramnathapur, Hyderabad. The construction of six-lane elevated corridor from Uppal to Narapally on the Hyderabad-Bhopalpatnam section of NH-163 (length 6.25 km). Six lane elevated corridor of 6.25 km will be constructed from the Uppal ring road to the Central Power Research Institute (CPRI) in Warangal Road. Its estimated construction cost is Rs 626 crore. The cost of land acquisition is Rs 768 crore while the cost of construction is being borne by the central government. The state government will build a flyover from Metro at Uppal junction to Ramanthapur road expected to cost Rs 311 crore.
