Sitaphalmandi Lalaguda Railway Doubling

The Lalaguda - Sitaphalmandi cord line and Sitaphalmandi - Moulali doubling and electrification works, which will become crucial in railway travel, will be completed by the end of March. These works were taken up a year ago and the schedule has been set to be completed in 40 days, said the officials of the South Central Railway. If these tracks become available, the pressure on the existing main lines connected to Secunderabad station will be reduced. Trains can be diverted to Kacheguda by bypassing Sitaphalmandi and Malkajgiri stations. There will be an opportunity to run more MMTS trains on the Malkajgiri route through single-twin lines.
